However, there is one small detail casting a shadow over the festivities: Princess Peach has been behaving strangely lately. It seems that King Olly, the self-proclaimed ruler of the Origami Kingdom, has hatched an evil plan to bend the entire world to his will. And his threats will not be left to fall flat, so it is time for a true hero to spring into action! In Paper Mario: The Origami King, Mario will face his greatest challenge yet. To make matters worse, King Olly has wrapped Princess Peach's castle in giant colourful streamers and moved it to a remote mountain. He has even transformed Bowser's minions into folded henchmen and enlisted them in his wicked cause!
