Since its launch in 1983, Bomberman has been a popular battle game. Now Bomberman returns as Super Bomberman R for Nintendo Switch.

In Super Bomberman R, the basic rules remain unchanged: control the main character (Bomberman), place bombs and fight enemies and rivals, but with a modern style featuring 3D platforms and photorealistic graphics. You can enjoy battles with rivals from all over the world. 

It offers a Battle mode where up to eight players can face off against one another, and a 'Story' mode where one or two players work cooperatively to overcome stages one by one, up to a total of 50 stages. In addition, there is a new rule whereby clearing the stages is not achieved simply by eliminating all the enemies. This simple yet strategic game with new rules and 3D stages guarantees fun for everyone, children and adults alike.
