Can you feel the excitement? Travel back to the 90s with your favourite characters from Disney Afternoon programmes in this collection of retro Disney games for NES and SNES, now available on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. This exclusive Switch update to the original 2017 collection adds two new games – Bonkers and Goof Troop – to the line-up, for a total of eight games, including DuckTales 1 & 2, Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers 1 & 2, TaleSpin and Darkwing Duck. It is the first time that Goof Troop and Bonkers have been re-released anywhere.

The collection includes enhancements that make the original games easier to play, along with several additional features. The REWIND feature lets you correct missed jumps and other mistakes. SAVE lets you mark your progress. Put your speedrunning skills to the test in BOSS RUSH and TIME ATTACK modes, each with online leaderboards. And enjoy the melodies you remember in the MUSIC PLAYER. Then enter GALLERY MODE to take a behind-the-scenes look at a fascinating virtual museum curated by the historians at Digital Eclipse.

Game descriptions:

• BONKERS (SNES): This eccentric platformer is packed with Easter eggs for Disney fans. Explore six levels in Toontown in search of missing items: the Sorcerer's Hat, the Mermaid's Voice and the Magic Lamp.

• GOOF TROOP (SNES): A family-friendly co-operative adventure starring the father-and-son duo, Goofy and Max. Solve puzzles as they attempt to rescue their friends from a pirate island. Goof Troop is one of the first games by developer Shinji Mikami (Resident Evil, Dino Crisis).

• DUCKTALES (NES) and DUCKTALES 2 (NES): DuckTales for NES (1989) was one of CAPCOM's biggest successes. Play as Scrooge McDuck with a cane that also works as a weapon and a pogo stick. The multi-path levels are packed with secrets and surprises, as well as featuring an excellent soundtrack. The sequel is just as fun.

• CHIP ‘N DALE RESCUE RANGERS (NES) and CHIP ‘N DALE RESCUE RANGERS 2 (NES): An 8-bit co-operative platforming duo starring the adorable squirrel detectives. Work together to walk and jump through the levels, collecting acorns, crates and other objects to throw at your enemies.

• TALESPIN (NES): A challenging side-scrolling shoot ’em up in which you soar through the skies as Baloo in his aircraft, the Seaduck. Use your quick reflexes and piloting skills to overcome a variety of enemies and bosses.

• DARKWING DUCK (NES): Fight crime as the very embodiment of the winged menace, Darkwing Duck, and face a variety of enemies with your gas gun.
