Pikmin 1+2 brings back two real-time strategy classics, originally released for GameCube and subsequently re-released for Wii as part of the NEW PLAY CONTROL line.
Both games put the player in the shoes of Captain Olimar, who finds himself on a remote planet searching for objects and parts with the help of small and adorable native creatures called Pikmin.

Pikmin have unique abilities which, when placed at Captain Olimar's service, allow them to do everything from fighting the local wildlife to carrying objects, making them the perfect helpers in Olimar's missions to repair his ship (Pikmin 1) and search for treasures (Pikmin 2).
PIKMIN 1
A crash landing, an unexplored planet and a wonderful discovery await Captain Olimar! Repair his spaceship with the help of tiny creatures with animal and plant-like features called Pikmin, and explore a lush world in this high-definition version of the Nintendo GameCube classic.
• Story mode (recover the ship's 30 parts in 30 days) and challenge mode (missions based on achieving the highest score by planting as many Pikmin as possible).
• Each type of Pikmin has unique abilities that are the key to success. Make them join forces to destroy obstacles, build bridges, carry parts or defeat enemies.

This captain never rests! Return to a strange planet and search for precious treasures with the support of the Pikmin and your new assistant in this high-definition version of the Nintendo GameCube classic.
• More game modes and multiplayer! In addition to story mode (in which you will have to collect as many treasures as possible), challenge mode is now a race against the clock that you can also enjoy with another player in split-screen, just like battle mode.
• As well as exploring the planet's surface, you can now venture into the depths and explore caves filled with treasures and enemies.
