- Embark on a classic adventure: In his quest to awaken the Wind Fish, Link must travel to various dungeons scattered across the island. Explore every room in these labyrinths as you solve complex puzzles, avoid traps and face the terrible monsters that await you there.
- By acquiring equipment and other items during his journey, Link will be able to explore more areas of the island and uncover many more secrets. Some items can be traded with the locals.
- Entertainment guaranteed: From shops to minigames, not to mention a thousand other things. Life as a castaway on Koholint Island is anything but boring!
- Create dungeons and add puzzles to them! During his journey, Link will obtain mystical items called Chamber Stones, which can be used to obtain rooms that you can arrange as you like to create dungeons.
- Compatible with amiibo. If you have an amiibo from The Legend of Zelda series, you can unlock additional rooms and save your favourite dungeon layouts.

It has been 26 years since The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening was released for Game Boy; now it arrives on Nintendo Switch as a revamped adventure. Because of a terrible storm, Link is shipwrecked and ends up on the shores of the mysterious Koholint Island. If he wants to return home, the brave hero must overcome challenging dungeons and face frightening monsters. This new version includes many of the unique elements that appeared in the original Game Boy game: 2D platforming sections, cameos from some characters who do not belong to The Legend of Zelda series, and much more. As you complete the dungeons in the main story, you will obtain rooms (Chamber Stones) that you can place as you like to arrange room-based dungeons. Place the dungeon entrance, the boss's lair and many other rooms as you explore the new dungeon and try to complete the objectives. Scan compatible amiibo from The Legend of Zelda series (sold separately) to obtain more Chamber Stones. You can also find more of them in updated minigames, such as the Rapids Ride, the Trendy Game and fishing.
