Begin your journey as one of eight protagonists, each with their own talent, background and goal. Where will the journey begin? Who will join the party? And where will you go next? All these decisions and many more are entirely in the player's hands.

Each character has an exclusive Path Action that they can use to interact uniquely with the people they encounter. For example, the warrior Olberic can challenge almost anyone to a duel. By doing so, he can unmask a villain and bring them to justice, or force someone to move out of his way. Meanwhile, the dancer Primrose can allure others to follow her. With this ability, she can find someone who has gone missing and bring them back, or lure her enemies into a trap. She can even call upon an allured character to help her in combat!

This game combines classic turn-based combat with completely new mechanics. One of these is the Boost system, which allows you to accumulate Boost Points during each combat turn. You can use them to dramatically increase the power of attacks and abilities, or to chain attacks together. You can focus attacks on an enemy's weak point to break their guard and land powerful blows while they are weakened. You can also help an ally in trouble. Identifying the ideal moment to use a Boost could bring you victory.

The variety of tactics is incredibly rich. Your creativity as strategists will be rewarded!
