This is the story of the unexpected encounter between the most iconic hero in video game history, Mario, and the irreverent, chaotic and adorable Rabbids.

Join them on an adventure and discover the Mushroom Kingdom like never before!A new world that the Rabbids have turned upside down, but which is full of secrets and nods to the classic Mario games!

Mario and his friends will use hundreds of never-before-seen weapons to strategically defeat enemies in true Rabbid style, with the occasional logical mishap at the most opportune moments.

Players will use the turn-based combat system to move their heroes around the battlefield and position them in higher places, use the pipe system and destructible environments, or receive a boost from their companions that allows them to take up the optimal shooting position.

Using combat tactics and the cover system, players will explore the game's four unique worlds with their team of heroes, defeating enemies, collecting items and solving puzzles as they progress through their mission.

In the main Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle campaign, players form a team of three unique characters, modifying their characteristics and skills through each player's own skill tree to create the perfect trio.

In the additional co-operative challenges, players team up with a friend in local multiplayer mode to play across three difficulty levels and defeat their opponents as a team.
