One controller or two, vertically or horizontally, motion control or button control. With the new Joy-Con controllers for Nintendo Switch, you’ll have complete flexibility when playing and discover new ways to interact that will completely transform your gaming experiences.

Their design includes the sophisticated HD rumble feature, which offers much more realistic vibration than before, and allows you to use one in each hand or share them with a friend; you can also attach them to the Joy-Con grip (sold separately), transforming them into a traditional-style controller. Each Joy-Con contains its own buttons, accelerometer and motion sensors, allowing it to function as a standalone controller.

In addition, the Joy-Con controllers feature new capabilities that make Nintendo Switch more interactive. On the one hand, the left Joy-Con has a capture button for taking screenshots during your games and sharing them via social media. The right Joy-Con, meanwhile, features an NFC point for using amiibo figures, as well as an infrared motion camera that detects the distance, shape and movement of nearby objects in games designed for this technology.
