Brink takes place on Ark, an artificial floating city on the brink of widespread civil war. Although it was originally built as a self-sufficient, 100% "green" experimental habitat, the obvious and rapid rise in the Earth's ocean levels has meant that Ark is no longer solely the home of its original founders and their descendants, but has become a place of asylum for thousands of refugees. At a time when tensions between the two groups are only intensifying, the Security and Resistance forces are waging a fierce battle for control of Ark. Which side will you choose? Features: You're not just another hero: Brink's advanced character customisation offers an almost endless combination of looks for your character, ensuring that your appearance will be truly unique. As you progress through the game and gain more experience, you will have more customisation options available. Every story has two sides: You can choose between two complete story campaigns, fighting as a member of the Resistance or Security. Play through these campaigns solo, cooperatively or competitively: the choice is yours. Breaking boundaries: Take your unique character into online play whenever you want. Brink lets you move seamlessly between single-player action, co-operative play with friends and intense multiplayer. Multiplayer brings the story online, where you can play with up to seven other people (or AI characters) in co-operative mode, defeating the opposing faction, or with up to 16 players in competitive mode. Smart play, SMART play: This time, the usual controls of any shooter are accompanied by a new feature: the SMART button. Pressing this button makes the game dynamically assess where you are trying to go and help you get there.
