The high Andean mountains, one of the most hostile regions in the country, have become a battlefield. La Cabra, a charismatic Mexican businesswoman, has taken control of all drug-trafficking routes through the highlands. Her dealings with the Peruvian cartels and her close ties to Nidia Flores, the Queen of Narco-Trafficking, make her a valuable asset to the Santa Blanca cartel.

Bolivia, a few years from now: this beautiful South American country has become the world's largest producer of cocaine. The influential and dangerous Santa Blanca drug cartel has turned the country into a lawless narco-state, ruled by fear, injustice and violence. The cartel is on its way to becoming a major criminal power and a global threat.

But total war is not the solution. The way to cure this disease at its source is through a surgical, stealthy and lethal tactic. The Ghosts, an elite team of US Special Forces, enter enemy territory to sow chaos and instability, thereby breaking the alliance between the cartel and the corrupt government. These specialists are not merely soldiers; they are «Ghosts», elite operatives who fight wars before they begin, work in the shadows, follow their own rules, and whose existence is more myth than reality.

Faced with a powerful enemy in a vast and hostile environment, the Ghosts will have to make difficult decisions and take part in fierce battles to complete their mission: the most risky and dangerous operation they have undertaken so far.

The story of Ghost Recon Wildlands is set a few years in the future, and will allow players to lead a team of Ghosts, a four-man unit of elite United States Special Forces, on a secret mission whose objective is to eliminate the Santa Blanca drug cartel, a previously unknown organisation that poses a global threat, all set against the backdrop of UBISOFT's beautiful (and, at the same time, dangerous) recreation of Bolivia.

Ghost Recon Wildlands takes place in the largest and most diverse open-world action-adventure environment UBISOFT has created to date. Players will be able to explore hundreds of villages and well-known locations, and interact with local legends and the various factions inhabiting every region of the territory. The Ghosts' upgradeable skills, along with an extensive arsenal of weapons, vehicles and DRONES, will help them take down their powerful enemy.

Tom ClancyÄôs Ghost Recon Wildlands gives players unprecedented freedom. Players can choose to play solo or team up with up to three friends in co-op mode to roam freely across this gigantic play area.

Players will have complete flexibility when tackling the game's story, missions and objectives, as well as in choosing how they want to play, whether through stealth, distraction, tactics or a frontal assault, or even a combination of these styles. As members of the Ghosts, players will have to make continuous and difficult decisions, all with tangible (and often unexpected) consequences for both enemies and allies, creating constantly dynamic and emergent gameplay throughout the game.
