DOOM: The Dark Ages is the prequel to the acclaimed DOOM (2016) and DOOM Eternal, and tells the epic, cinematic origin of the fury of the DOOM Slayer. In this third instalment of the modern DOOM series, players will step into the shoes of the DOOM Slayer in a dark and sinister medieval war against Hell unlike anything seen before.
Join forces with other players to face the threat of the night and the dangers it brings in a cooperative mode for 3 players.
Take control of heroes with unique abilities: each one has their own skills and a unique play style. Although formidable on their own, their abilities will create powerful synergies when they join forces and work as a team.
Overcome the relentless threat that stalks and roams these lands... everything around you changes in each gaming session, and you will have to defeat the mighty boss of the night!
*Players who purchase the PlayStation®4 version will be able to upgrade it free of charge to the PlayStation®5 version. Please note that players who purchase the disc version of the game will not be able to upgrade on PS5™ Digital Edition, as it does not have a disc drive. Players who purchase the digital PS5™ version from the PlayStation™Store will also be able to download the PS4™ version at no extra cost.
In all cases, registration with PlayStation™Network, sufficient storage space and a fast internet connection are required (data transfer charges apply).
* SmartDelivery is compatible with Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. After purchasing the game once, players will be able to play it on Xbox Series X and/or Xbox One.
Please note that players who purchase the physical disc version of the game will not be able to upgrade it on Xbox Series S Edition, as it does not have a disc drive.
* Online cooperative play requires a PlayStation Plus or Game Pass Ultimate/Core subscription.
