From Santa Monica Studio comes the sequel to the acclaimed God of War (2018). Fimbulwinter is underway. Kratos and Atreus must travel to each of the Nine Realms in search of answers while the Asgardian forces prepare for the prophesied battle that will bring about the end of the world. Along the way, they will explore incredible mythical landscapes and face fearsome enemies, such as Norse monsters and gods. The threat of Ragnarök is drawing ever closer. Kratos and Atreus must choose between their own safety and that of the realms.

Atreus seeks knowledge that will help him understand the prophecy of "Loki" and establish his role in Ragnarök. Kratos must decide whether to give in to the fear of repeating his mistakes or leave the past behind and become the father Atreus needs.
The Leviathan Axe, Blades of Chaos and Guardian Shield return, along with a wealth of new abilities for Kratos and Atreus. Kratos's lethal Spartan abilities will be put to the test like never before as he battles gods and monsters throughout the Nine Realms to protect his family.
