Gran Turismo Sport features two official online championships sanctioned by the FIA (Federation Internationale de lAutomobile), which take place simultaneously. In the Nations Cup, players can represent their own country. In the Manufacturers Series, players can choose their favourite manufacturer.
Users will not only race as drivers, but will also compete for their country and favourite team.
The championship winner will be honoured in the same way as real drivers, at an FIA ceremony. This will be a historic moment: the first time a video game will be officially recognised as part of the world of motor sport.
