Fields in full bloom and densely populated areas invite you to explore an incredibly beautiful yet deadly landscape, discovering everything it has to offer alone or in two-player co-op mode. The disaster has also affected the wildlife, and you will encounter several predators that have evolved in surprising ways. Unforgettable characters facing an unrelenting double threat. Take on the brutal Highwaymen and their rebellious leaders, Mickey and Lou. These sisters, known as the Twins, combine intelligence and brute force to give their army an iron grip on Hope County’s valuable resources. Recruit an eclectic cast of mercenaries who will prove extremely useful. These new allies, along with several familiar faces, will provide you with the skills needed to go straight for victory. Find the former doomsday cult and seek out the charismatic leader who prophesied the end of civilisation: Joseph Seed. Grow the survivor community and build its base. A series of Specialists will join the Survivors to help them create weapons and vehicles, train mercenaries and even set out on Expeditions from one of the eight available headquarters: the office, training camp, explosives laboratory, infirmary, garage, healing garden, cartography room and expedition centre. Grow your community and upgrade your headquarters to improve its facilities and unlock more powerful weapons and equipment. Fight for resources in Hope County and far beyond. Take on the Highwaymen in the Territory Wars and eliminate their outposts to obtain Ethanol and other resources. When the Highwaymen return with more reinforcements, the challenge of claiming these valuable resources will be much greater. For the first time in Far Cry, the adventure is not just local.
