Paradise turned into hell.

In KILLING FLOOR 2, players travel to the European continent, where the outbreak caused by Horzine Biotech's failed experiment has spread rapidly and relentlessly, virtually bringing the European Union to a standstill. Only one month has passed since the events of KILLING FLOOR came to an end, and the specimens' clones are already everywhere. Humanity is plunged into chaos, communications have broken down, governments have fallen and armies have been systematically annihilated. The people of Europe know all too well what it means to fight for survival, and those who have managed to stay alive have sought ways to hide.

But not everyone has given up... A group of civilians and mercenaries have organised to combat the outbreak and established privately funded bases of operations throughout Europe. After detecting the specimens' hotspots, players must enter zed-infested areas to exterminate them.

Features:

- Visceral gore: KILLING FLOOR 2 ramps up the gore with a powerful, persistent, patented blood system that brings new levels of fidelity to the genre. Players will blow guts, dismembered limbs and blood into the air as they make their way through the hordes. But they will need to be careful, as if they are caught, their enemies will show no mercy and will tear them and their team to pieces.

- 6-player co-op and solo mode: in online co-op mode, players can choose from a wide variety of playable characters when beginning the fight or, if they are brave enough to face the terrifying specimens alone, they can try their luck in solo mode.

- Terrifying Zeds: both new enemies and fan favourites from the original game burst onto the screen with broader, sharper artificial intelligence, delivering powerful blows left and right, working together to weaken the player's team and taking the challenge and terror to new levels.

- A unique combination of weapons: from modern military assault rifles, improvised weapons, historical pistols and outlandish weapons created by some mad scientist, KILLING FLOOR 2 has a unique variety of tools of destruction to satisfy any player.

- Expanded perk system: the perks from the original game have been revamped and new ones have been added. All perks progress alongside decisive skill choices that expand the various play styles, giving players an extensive progression path filled with rewarding milestones.

- Brutal melee combat: KILLING FLOOR 2 completely reinvents close-quarters combat. Players now have control over the type of melee attack they can perform, allowing them to deliver savage, unrelenting blows to the zeds.

- Versus Survival mode: Step into the shoes of a Zed! A 12-player versus mode in which two teams take turns facing off as humans and Zeds over a couple of short matches. In the first match, one team plays as the humans and the other as the Zeds until all the humans die during the round or until they defeat the boss. In the second match, the teams swap roles and, when the battle is over, receive a score based on how they played; the team with the highest score wins.
