Middle-earth: Shadow of War™, features a completely original story, with the return of Talion and Celebrimbor, who must now cross enemy lines to raise an army and turn all of Mordor against the Dark Lord, Sauron.

In Middle-earth: Shadow of War™, players wield a new Ring of Power and face the deadliest enemies, including Sauron and his Nazgûl, in an epic battle for Middle-earth. The open-world action-adventure game expands upon the award-winning Nemesis system. The robust customisation from the first game now applies to the entire world, where all environments and characters are influenced by the player's decisions and actions, creating a personal and unique world with every new playthrough.

The innovative Nemesis system creates unique personal stories through procedurally generated enemies, who remember every encounter and have different personalities, strengths and weaknesses. Middle-earth: Shadow of War™ expands upon this innovation by introducing followers, who will shape new stories of loyalty, betrayal and revenge. The Nemesis system is also expanded to create a unique and personal world through Nemesis Fortresses, allowing players to use different strategies to conquer dynamic strongholds with their own unique Orc army and create personalised worlds.
