Deadlight: Director's Cut improves the platforming and survival horror game experience in every respect, with better controls, new animations and high-resolution 1080p, just some of the improvements implemented. Players will also be able to play the new game mode in Deadlight: Director's Cut – Randall will find one of his toughest challenges to date in “Survival Arena” mode.

Set in the apocalyptic year of 1986, Deadlight tells the story of Randall Wayne, an introverted and slightly paranoid survivor attempting to reunite with his loved ones in a world torn apart by zombies. From the ruined streets of Seattle through the city's crumbling sewer system and the remains of a forgotten stadium, you will seek the haven known as the “safe point”. Throughout tense platforming sections and a series of deadly zombie encounters, you must choose whether to use your scarce bullets to decimate the undead or use the environment to evade and hide from them. Combat is not always the answer, especially against those known as “shadows”, the walkers, the undead remnants of the human race.
