Reprogrammed goalkeepers
A new system increases the intelligence of goalkeepers as the last line of defence, which means they now save shots more reliably and make better decisions between the posts. In FIFA 22, goalkeeper positional personality is based on the different styles of these players and represents the bulletproof reflexes of the world's best keepers.

Ball physics
Real-world data integrated into FIFA 22 makes the ball physics reach unprecedented levels of realism. Adjustments to parameters such as speed, spin, drag and air resistance, friction against the ground and rolling resistance ensure that every touch, feint, shot, volley, pass and dribble feels as real as life itself.

Explosive sprint
