As it is a console focused on handheld play, Nintendo Switch Lite cannot be connected to a TV.

Easily take your favourite games with you

If a game is compatible with Joy-Con controller features such as HD rumble, the IR Motion Camera and motion sensors, certain game features will not be available when using only the Nintendo Switch Lite console. In this case, Joy-Con controllers (sold separately) are required to enjoy these features.

For games that are not compatible with handheld mode, players can wirelessly connect Joy-Con controllers (sold separately) to Nintendo Switch Lite. Users will need a device for charging the Joy-Con controllers, such as the Joy-Con Charging Grip. To check the compatibility of specific titles with the different play modes, consult the product packaging or visit Nintendo eShop.
