With Nintendo Switch Lite you can play all Nintendo Switch software that is compatible with handheld mode. It’s ideal for usrs who prefer to play on the go, or for those who want to play online or locally in multiplayer mode with family or friends who own a flagship Nintendo Switch console.

As it is a console designed for handheld play, Nintendo Switch Lite cannot be connected to a television.

Easily take your favourite games with you

If a game is compatible with Joy-Con controller features such as HD rumble, the IR Motion Camera and motion sensors, certain game features will not be available when using only the Nintendo Switch Lite console. In that case, Joy-Con controllers (sold separately) are required to enjoy these features.

For games that are not compatible with handheld mode, players can wirelessly connect Joy-Con controllers (sold separately) to Nintendo Switch Lite. Usrs will need a device for charging the Joy-Con controllers, such as the Joy-Con Charging Grip.
