PAPER MARIO THE ORIGAMI KING SWITCH PHYSICAL GAME Nintendo Switch

The latest instalment in the series offers an adventure packed with humour, puzzles, strategic battles using a ring system, quirky characters and a unique visual style. Players looking for plenty of fun are in for a treat, as they will soon receive an invitation to visit a colourful paper world. There, they can celebrate the kingdom's origami festival alongside Princess Peach, Mario and Luigi when Paper Mario: The Origami King arrives exclusively on Nintendo Switch on 17 July.

However, there is one small detail that casts a shadow over the festivities: Princess Peach has been behaving strangely lately. It seems that King Olly, the self-proclaimed ruler of the Origami Kingdom, has hatched an evil plan to bend the entire world to his will. And his threats will not be left to waste, so it is time for a true hero to spring into action! In Paper Mario: The Origami King, Mario will face his greatest challenge yet. To make matters worse, King Olly has wrapped Princess Peach's castle in giant colourful streamers and moved it to a remote mountain. He has even transformed Bowser's minions into folded followers and recruited them to his nefarious cause!

Nintendo SWITCH NEON

A new console is joining the Nintendo Switch family: with Nintendo Switch (OLED model), available from 8 October, the range of options for enjoying the extensive Nintendo Switch game catalogue is growing. Here you can watch the presentation video for the new console, Nintendo Switch (OLED model).

Nintendo Switch (OLED model) is the same size as the original Nintendo Switch console, but features a 7-inch OLED screen with vivid colours and high contrast. Nintendo Switch (OLED model) also includes a wide adjustable stand for tabletop mode, a new dock with a wired LAN port for playing online with a more stable internet connection, 64 GB of internal storage and built-in speakers with enhanced audio for clearer sound in handheld and tabletop modes. Like the Nintendo Switch console, Nintendo Switch (OLED model) lets you play on your TV and share the detachable Joy-Con controllers for unforgettable multiplayer gaming.

VIVID COLOURS

Nintendo Switch (OLED model) features a 7-inch screen with a slimmer bezel. The screen's vivid colours and high contrast provide a richer handheld and tabletop gaming experience, bringing games to life whether you are racing at high speed on the asphalt or facing off against fearsome enemies.

Unlike LCD screens, an OLED screen has no backlight, displaying images using the light emitted by each individual pixel. Simply turning off a pixel produces darker blacks, offering greater contrast.

WIDE ADJUSTABLE STAND

Enjoy tabletop mode at the angle you prefer: open the stand and pass a controller to another player to share the screen and enjoy competitive and cooperative multiplayer wherever and whenever you want.

The wide adjustable stand on Nintendo Switch (OLED model) can be set to your preferred angle for comfortable tabletop gaming.

NEW DOCK WITH WIRED LAN PORT

The dock included with Nintendo Switch (OLED model) features two USB ports, an HDMI port for connecting to a TV and a new wired LAN port, allowing you to enjoy more stable online play in TV mode.

GREATER INTERNAL STORAGE: 64 GB

Nintendo Switch (OLED model) has 64 GB of internal storage. You can expand the available space with a compatible microSD card (sold separately). Download your favourite games and enjoy them wherever and whenever you want.

BUILT-IN SPEAKERS WITH ENHANCED AUDIO

Enjoy clear sound when playing in handheld or tabletop mode.

Nintendo Switch (OLED model) is compatible with the entire Nintendo Switch game catalogue. However, the gaming experience may differ when using some Toy-Con accessories from the Nintendo Labo range, due to the difference in the size of the console and screen of Nintendo Switch (OLED model) compared with Nintendo Switch.

All previous versions of Joy-Con controllers and accessories for Nintendo Switch are compatible with Nintendo Switch (OLED model).
