The kiwis are desperate to go on holiday! But since they can’t fly, they decide to launch themselves down a ramp to reach a fruit crate where they’ll travel as stowaways. That’s right, they all want to go alongside their friends... In this crazy game, players must all launch their kiwis at the same time, trying to get 4 of them into a square. Managed it? Then shout “flying kiwis!” and you’ll be the winner. A hilarious game for the whole family where the saying “a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush” certainly won’t apply... CONTENTS: 1 game board 1 cardboard frame 1 cardboard grid 4 ramps 40 kiwis OBJECTIVE: Get 4 of your kiwis into the crate in a square, launching them with your ramp. If nobody manages it, play continues until only one player has kiwis left. Count the kiwis in the crate; the player with the most is the winner. GAMEPLAY: Set up the board and ramps, and each player takes the kiwis of one colour. It is recommended that you practise launching the kiwis before starting the game. Now, everyone launches their kiwis at the same time, trying to get 4 of their kiwis to form a square in 4 adjacent compartments. Kiwis that land outside the crate can be retrieved and launched again. Those inside the board can no longer be picked up. If a player runs out of kiwis, they must wait until the game ends. The game ends as soon as a player manages to place 4 of their kiwis together; they must then shout “flying kiwis!”, or when only one player has kiwis left. In this case, stop the game and each player takes all the kiwis from the compartments in which kiwis of their colour are on top. The player with the most kiwis wins the game.
