PIXIE QUEEN is a worker placement game about a queen who rules her subjects like a true tyrant. Fairies are small and mischievous mythical creatures, found mainly in the regions of Cornwall and Devon. They deceive and steal from people all the time. They do not do this solely for their own amusement, but basically out of fear of their own Queen, who rules her people like a true tyrant, constantly demanding offerings. Two to five players will take on the role of Fairy Leaders, trying to outdo the others when it comes to satisfying their Queen. Each round, they will collect Silver, Gold and Food as offerings to the Queen. You will be rewarded for delivering gold rings, surprising her with special gifts or becoming one of her loyal servants. However, the Queen is not easily satisfied. She will award Penalty Points to those who work the least each round. To do well, you must earn as few Penalty Points as possible. At the end of the game, this penalty can be offset with the Reward Points you have earned. If you manage to finish the game with a positive score, you did brilliantly!
