Super Mario RPG:Legend of The Seven Stars |
|
Long ago, ancient gods created powerful beings called Espers and made them fight one another. The result of these battles was a world in ruins. Legends say that this was the end of the Espers, and that they took almost all of humanity with them in their struggle. After this, magic disappeared without a trace. Centuries later, in a world ruled by science, it is believed that Espers existed only in myths, until one is found frozen. At the same time, rumours spread of magical attacks on civilians by the Imperial Army, now equipped with powerful MagiTek weapons. Magic has returned, and the world is once again in danger. The questions are who is trying to seize this legendary power and who is hiding behind the evil plan that threatens to bring chaos to this peaceful world. Although released as Final Fantasy III for the SNES in North America, this game is Final Fantasy VI according to the series chronology. On-screen text in English. |
When the Mega Man series made the leap from the NES to the Super Nintendo, both the series and its protagonist underwent a major technological change. Mega Man X takes place one hundred years after the adventures of the original Mega Man. The protagonist is X, a robot from a different generation who must face the threat of the Reploids with the help of Zero, a hunter of rogue robots. Like Mega Man, X must fight his way through dangerous stages and defeat the final bosses to obtain their weapons. However, X is one step ahead of Mega Man and can sprint, climb walls and obtain parts that improve his abilities. |
