STORY
The story takes place in Humelia, a nation of mages that prospered thanks to the abundance of arcane materials lying underground. In pursuit of technological development, Humelia succeeded in creating homunculi, artificial beings that would usher in the kingdom’s golden age. However, an impure smoke rose from beneath the ground and transformed these beings into frenzied beasts.

Lilac, who has the power to save homunculi by tuning them, awakens in a laboratory deep underground. There, she meets a homunculus who appears to be connected to the calamity that has ravaged Humelia. Together, they set out on an adventure in search of lost memories and cherished companions. Several decades after the ill-fated Deadly Flood, a new story of destruction and rebirth begins in an apocalyptic world.

SETTING
ENDER MAGNOLIA is a dark fantasy 2D side-scrolling action RPG in which you will embark on a journey through the desolate land of Humelia in search of a way to save both humans and homunculi. This kingdom, at the forefront of magical and mechanical development, is composed of a hierarchical social structure. Before you lies the world of ENDER MAGNOLIA, breathtakingly beautiful yet cruel, with a wide variety of areas including an abandoned city, a laboratory harbouring terrible mysteries, an imposing arcane institute and a colossal factory.

Throughout your journey, various homunculi will help you save those who have succumbed to madness. Fight formidable and powerful enemies and free their souls to gain new allies. Whom will Lilac save after overcoming the hardships of her adventure? Humans, or perhaps homunculi?
